Hello SDN Community.

I have the following error when I try to perform a Backup Full (SAP-ORACLE-ARCserver).

Program: BACKINT

Parameters:

Nodename: AZANT03

Function: BACKUP

BackupType: file

Input File: H:\oracle\AZD\sapbackup\.bdvykfov.lst

Output File:

Parameter File: E:\ORACLE\AZD\DATABASE\dia01A.utl

Parallel sessions:1

BKIERR: Product grace period expired.

BR232E 0 of 83 files saved by backup utility

BR280I Time stamp 2007-08-17 22.13.28

BR231E Backup utility call failed

I tried copiying the BACKINT.EXE file from other site, but the problem continues.

Do you know, how can I solve the problem?

Thanks.

David

Your evaluation period for the product is over, you need to buy a license for it.

Thanks Markus,

I saw the message in the Log.

But you know how I can license the BACKINT tool? I'm really lost about that. We never made that process.

Thanks for your comments.

You downloaded it somewhere, right?

ARCserve is nowadays CA, I think you can just call them - see the page here:

Look in the upper right corner for a phone number.

Markus,

Thanks for your tips.

When I was trying again testing the tool in Console Mode, appears a Message from ARCSERVE about the expired license.

I find information on the Internet about the clean uninstall of Brightstore Arcserve. I did the steps and reinstalling again and the problem was solved.

What you did is uninstalling ARCserver and reinstalling it so the evaluation period starts from the beginning. After that period is over again, you will face the same error.
