Hiding Rows

Hi,

I made a drilldown on "Sales region" in the interactive planning , and I want to hide some rows in the "Total" than the details. Is this can be achieved by a Macro? Any onw knows about this?

Eg. Drill down creates the following data

Total

- Total Demand

- Total Supply

- Orders

Europe

- Total Demand

- Total Supply

- Orders

APAC

- Total Demand

- Total Supply

- Orders

I want to show only "Total Demand" in the "Total" is that possible?

Did you try using the ROW_VISIBLE() function in Macros that gets invoked on drilldown on a charactersitic ?

I did tried. But it hides that row fully. (ie from Total and rest of the characteristics)

you may need to ungroup the KF.

If you go to Total and right click >> Row: Total>> undo grouping

then hide the other two KF that you dont want with rows_invisible

oh ignore what i said... didnt read properly...

and of course you know how to ungroup and hide KF

...dont think you can hide just the rows under Total alone

Hi,

I found a solution to this problem. First keep the keyfigure as "Hidden" in the dataview design. Run a macro at the "Detailed" level and check if aggregation leve is =0 then make the row visible. I hope this helps some one..
