CO Document Number ranges

Hi All,

In the production i am not able to create the CO Document number ranges by using KANK or SNRO. when i give controlling area and in the application bar group -> Maintain. the system is giving the folloing message.

No elements exist for the object/sub-object

please help me it is urgent issue.

Hi,

IN controlling we can create number ranges in two types. Generally through number groups we can go ahead. So assign number range elements to number groups. then there will be no problem.

Hi sankar,

after executing the program RKTKA04C i am able to create. but before executing this program even i was not able to create groups and without groups we can't give number ranges.

and i would like to know why should we execute the above program.

Hi,

I faced the same problem, some times it happens when we create a controlling area without copying from the already existing controlling area provided by SAP. In such cases the problem can be solved only by running the above mentioned program.

The reason for this is what when we copy from existing Controlling Area all the tables and programs are copied or SAP is loaded in different server certain programs are not executed.

the program what you said meant for this purpose only.Refresh Business Transactions with Number Ranges. to know more information go for SE38 and specify the program name. choose documentation.
