Hi Ritu,

I guess you are checking some standard SAP program.

Eg., For VA01 TCODE,SAPMV45A is main program.

    If I am correct...

U can check, what data is present in a structure, using Debugging...

Data is populated at Run time here..

    Reward if Useful,

    Imran.

    Hi Ritu,

A structure contains no data. You have to create a table for this structure and then add rows to it by using 'Create Entries'. This data can then be viewed from the table.

    Hope this helps.

    Neha

    Hi,

structure wont store data in data base.

they will be filled only in runtime that to one record at a time

    while debugging

you can type the structure and press enter

then you can see the data

declare a work area like the same structure of the structure

and fill the work area in the program and in debuggginng you can see the values

    thanks & regards,

    Venkatesh

A structure does not contain data!

A table can be created based on a structure. You can view the data of such a table.

A structure is just a set of fields grouped together,,, the structures which are included or appended in tables contain data.. But otherwise structures do not contain data as such in the database..

there are structures like : SYST and SCREEN which are filled during runtime by the SAP system.. and these fields can be accessed in the abap program..

    Structurename-fieldname

    Hi Ritu..

Jus set a breakpoint in ur program.. (program must be active version for this)

    run the program..

and in the fields mentioned below key in ur structure name.. u can then see the values of the fields in the structure. all the best..

    Hi Ritu,

Structures can be defined in data dictionary or in the ABAP programs and it does not store any data as no memeory is allocated to them. But if u declare a variable(work area) with data statement then at runtime it can hold data.

    Thanks,

    Jiten
