Making Marketing Attribute mandatory during BP creation

Hi

In my prject there is requirement to make Marketing Attribute and PF exclusion mandatory during BP creation. I have tried doing this using field groupings in IMG, but it seems it is not supported.

Please help me in resolving this.

You can use event BDT “DCHCK”, to verify the mandatory characteristics, and if they are not filled, to show an error messag.

Dear Hitesh,

Please set option button as 'Required entry' for the data set 'Marketing attribute' -'Field group' -As per the Role needed.(Configure field attribute per BP role).

Hi Hitesh,

Go to "Configure Field Attributes per Client -> BUPA" in SPRO. You can make "CRM Marketing Attributes" as mandatory.

I have already tried this option...

On selecting this it still allows you to save data, without the value of attributes..

Also make the Attribute Values as "Required Entry" in CRMD_PROF_CHAR.

Can U plz expalin in depth as to wht exactly is ur requirement?

Thanx for your reply...requirement is that whenever I create business partner, and if I try to save it without assigning marketing attributes then an error should be displayed...prompting user to assign value.
