Logon into the SAP system which is the domain controller with client 000.

click on F8

double-click on the system you want to modify

click on Communication tab

ion the transport group, make sure that there is an entry there

then save

press CTRL+F2

>>E-
SILDEV\sapmnt\trans\bin\TP_DOMAIN_DEV.PFL could not be opened.

what's about carefully executing the steps of Preparing the SAP System Transport Host described in chapter 3.7 of the installation guide??????

run stms to check your transport environment setup.

I (as an moderator) edit your reply instead of replying to it.

Unfortunately I could not revert it.

for the complete documentation of your problem, please file the logfile once again.

kind regards

vijay,

sorry again for editing (deleting) your reply.

>>Errors: error in transportprofil (param missing

is a subsequent error of

>>E-
SILDEV\sapmnt\trans\bin\TP_DOMAIN_DEV.PFL could not be opened.

if no transportprofile can be read, there are some missing parameters.

please check your system according my last reply.

Peter

needless to say that your transport configuration was not prepared properly according the documentation I refered above.

I don't know why Yaroslav was asking for the dev_w? tracefile.

The error happens in tp and tp is not using the tracefile.

see my last response.

First check, if you central transport directory is reachable from both system. Then login to your TMS domain controller and check the configurations of the transport groups using transaction STMS, redistribute the configuration and try again to do your transport.
