How to Copy Task

how can we copy task from one server to another which are in different lanscape.

    Hi Devanshu,

    Pls check the option of <i>Import / Export</i> of workflow definition using XML file .

    However there are certain limitations in this option also.

    But hope this is an option by which you will be able to proceed.

      hi.

      if u import / export workflow , entire definition will not get transfer Akshay ( mainly ACTIVITY step will not get transfer) . deva case is task. so only way to connect with RFC and to transport the task

    Import / Export should be correct only if the destination system is the same of the source.

    Place everything in a transport and use mandant copy to import the transport (ask your basis team to help you on this)

    Hi if you want to copy one or two tasks,how much time will take you to create new tasks.

    If you want to copy all tasks from one server to another..better way transportation.
