Hi All,

I am experiencing a severe problem.

I created a domain with NUMC length 6 character.

I assigned a value table to it as well as low value and high value range.

later I removed value table according to my requirement.

but after that I am not able to activate domain its giving following error messge

"Fixed value/limit ' ' for data type NUMC must be a whole positive number"

Even after making it as it was before I mean I assigned same value table to it again, still its giving same error message.

Can anyone please sort this out.

Full points will be rewarded.

Hi Shailu,

You once again undergo all the "Technical Settings" & "Table Maintenance Generator" by deleting the previous and again save & activate the new one.

This might work some times.

Hi Shailendra,

Ur problem is simple . Use the select entries , delete entries in the column while entering the values or deleting the column.

Dont use backspace for deletion . When you delete like that , the entry is still available in the table and does not get activated.

But for char even an empty space will be accepted , no issues will be raised .

For eg:

Try the same NUMC , go to value range enter the value in the fixed value and delete with backspace ,

Then enter the intervals , it will shows the same message .

So go again back to fixed value and use delete button option and then activate , it will get activated .

Hope this will solve your problem .

Gajalakshmi .
