'Storage location MRP' - MRP4 view (Urgent)

Hi All,

I would like to check for all materials in a given plant if 'Storage location MRP' details is maintained or not in MRP-4 view of material master.

Because at the moment for some materials when i enter the plant & storage location in MM03 to view the details & click on MRP-4 view, it says 'No storage-location specific data exists'.

Hope my question is clear, await inputs.

Hi Riti & Vishal,

I think i have not put across my problem correctly. In material master sloc details is maintained, i can see the views - Plant Stock, Stor. Location Stock. But in MRP-4 view, there are 4 main headings (BOM explosion.. / Discontinued Parts / Repetitive Mfg.. / Storage location MRP).

So out of these 4 points, Storage Location MRP details is not maintained for a few materials in a particular plant, Sloc combination. So i would like to know, how i can find a list of materials which does not have this details i.e Storage Location MRP. Hope it is clear now.

Whatever soln. i suggested is still valid for ur prob. now to extend it little bit follow below said.

If u follow above said steps from previous post..u will get <b>MRP indi.</b> Tab...double click in open space against that tab....U will get<u> list of selection options</u>...select not equal to <b>1</b>..and execute report ..

It will give u List of Items for which <u>Storage Location MRP</u> is not maintained

Do reply if prob is not solved..i will send u screen shots

Hi Vivek ,

Go to SE16 select the table MARD.

Select your field in fields for selection which you want to see whether it is maintained or not.MARD-DISKZ

Then execute it. You can get the list of materials whcih are not maintained or maintained for the Plant & Storage location combination.

Thanks for your inputs. But when i query MARD table with DISKZ = blank, i get all the materials which are maintained for that Sloc, but when i go to MM03 to view it, i get that message (posted above). The output i am getting by setting MARD-DISKZ = blank is correct, because it doesnt check if Storage Location MRP details is maintained or not. So for those materials which does not have the data stored, will still show as blank. Hope i was able to put across my problem to you clearly.

if u want to check for which materials MRP4 indicator is activated follow below things

Go to SE16-enter table MARDEnter required entries like--Plant storage location,MRP indicator...etc it will give u detailed list of material....

If u want modify report as per need..Go to setting>Format list>choose fields

I hope u will get required info by this report

Hi,

Goto Transcation code MM50, with your material, Plant and maintenance status as L and D execute.

The output list are the list of materials and plant combination for which the views need to be extended.
