Costing sheet

Hi all

I have created two costing sheets with seperate

costing variants, but when ever i change the percentages of overhead

or credit, it is updating in the second one also.

where now the requirement is like that, where i have to create the 40

costing sheets for the each factory for different overhead rates. How

can i do this, if the thing is happening as above mentioned.

Please tell me is there any thing i need to do, specifically for creating the

different costing sheets with different costing variants (1 to 1

basis) for calculating the OH as per the factory wise.

Thanks

Ansuman

Hi Ansuman,

when you require 2 costing sheets with 2 costing variants, and where the cost sheet is different to different plants then i hope the following solution helps out...

The Cost sheet is assigned in the valuation variant.

The valuation variant can be Plant Specific and like wise the Costing Variant can also be Plant Specific at the Cost Component Structure. If it is not defined as Plant Specific then it will be applicable to all the plants.

I hope this solves your Problem..

Hi Ansuman,

I believe you are using the same overhead key / overhead group for both the costing sheets. If you want to maintain different percentages for different costing sheets, then you need to maintain differeent overhead key / overhead group.

Hi Ansuman,

I think you are using the same overhead key for all the costing sheets. Now, i think the requirement to have different costing sheet for each plant needs more clarification.

If the requirement is only for the overhead rates, then you can use the common key with DO20 dependency type (Overhead Type and Plant combination) and have only one cost sheet. Remember to use this option when the base and other rows does not change.

If the Costing sheet rows is going to change for each Plant then it would be wise to have different OH keys for each plant and different Costing sheet for each plant.

Hope this helps you.
