Hi group,
Our customer has the requirement to link a CRM transaction (e.g. an opportunity) to multiple sales organizations. I know it is no problem to automatically determine organizational data for a transaction using the determination rules available within the standard, but I never had to link multiple organizations to a transaction.
Has anybody encountered this requirement before? Please advise how to solve this issue, or otherwise how to work around it.
Thanks in advance for any suggestions!
Kind regards,
KZ
HI
The system will determine only one Sales Organization to a transaction, if you require multiple Sales Organization in the transaction, this can be achieved by using partner Determination Procudure.
In the procedure, Maintain Partner Function "Responsible Organization" to have multiple values and use the Org Determination rule as Access sequence..., this way you bring multiple Organization....

Hi Milan,
You have a very interesting point there. At one of my customers, this was the requirement. Maybe if you can give a bit of more detials, it would be great. Can we have different ORg units at line item level? How will we handle this in R/3? Maybe I can open another thread where you can advise. Let me know..
