    Hi ,

The different clients available in you SAP Environment.

    For eg.

    Testing client

    Development client

    Quality Client

    Production client

Also other applications which interact with SAP. Say Delphi system interacting with SAP, VB interacting with SAP etc.

    All these together form landscape.

    Best regards,

    Prashant

    Hi...

SAP System Landscape Means the Different SAP Servers and the Clients in those Servers used for different activities within the Organization.

Most commonly there will be 3 types of servers in a Landscape.

Development Server: Where developers create the Repository Objects

Test Server(QA) : Where the Integration test is done

Production Server : Where end users access SAP applications

In each Server there can be one or more clients.

But based on requirements There can be other Servers within the Landscape for Eg: Training Servers...Consolidation server etc.

    Reward if Helpful.

    hi,

landscape is the architecture. there 3 types of landscapes

    1. stand alone

    2. client -server.

    3. 3 tier architecture

sap is a 3 tier real time architecture, which comprises of

    1. development server

    2. quality server

    3. production server.

development server : has only more no. of clients. initial designing, object creation is done in this server. unit testing is done with some dummy data

quality server: developed objects on development server are tested with real time data in quality server.

production server: after developed object passes all tests then transfered to client.

    if helpful reward some points.

    with regards,

    Suresh Aluri.
