need of Business Systems?

Hi Experts,

Is it really need of Business systems for doing IDOC scenarios?

Why not technical systems to use directly(ie., if only one R/3 system having the client)?

Does my question is having sense???

YRaj.

    hey

we always need business system for scenario, the point in havaing the business system is that suppose in future if u change the technical system(i mean physical system)then u have to change the settings in all the scenarios, but if u have a business system in between you can simply point this business system to the new technical system and your scenarios remain unchanged

    Thanx

    Hi Raj,

We create Business system to Technical system and assign it to our Scenario. If there is some changes there in the technical system like we are going to use some other client of the technical system in future it is sufficient to change the Bussiness sytem to point to the new technical system. There is no necessity of changing the scenario itself. This is the reason of using the Business systems in the Scenarios.

    Hi YRaj,

One R3 system will have more than one client.

each client acts as separate system.thats why you will create Business system for each client.

    Cheers,
