BOM Component and quantity like cs03

Hi friends,

I want output like cs03 i want component list and its quantity which r use for perticular material as like in CS03.

Means I just give material no in input for that perticular material number in output it display components which are used for that perticular material and its quantity,plan.

I don't know PP tables and link between them so plz give me tables name and related llink so i can get output in SQVI OR REPORT.

Hi Prashant,

As suggested by the forum members you can use the function module "

CS_BOM_EXPL_MAT_V2 by giving inputs

similarly you can use CS12 transaction code also for multilevel BOM

I am not to sure why you are asking SQVI ??

if there are certain standard transaction codes as well BAPI, Programs are available to explode the BOM

CS12

CS_BOM_EXPL_MAT_V2

RCS12001

If you want table level means pass the material number, plant, BOM usage in MAST Table and get the BOM Number (STLNR)

Pass the same BOM Number (STLNR) in to STPO table you will get the details

cann use the following Function Module

CS_BOM_EXPLOSION_MAT

Enter the following

DATUV = date\

EMENG = header base qty

MEHRS = X if muti level exp. required

MTNRV = Header material

STLAN = BOM application

WERKS = plant

u will get the o/p in STB internal table

however u can use CS11, CS12, CS13 for the same O/P

But if you are planning to make use of tables for creating a query then

Using the Following tables,you can create a simple query and get the necessary

details.

STPO         BOM Item Details

STKO     BOM Header Details

MAST         BOM Group to Material.

I check all this 3 tables but i don't get quantity.

SO its possible they r calculate component quantity on their programes and donot maintain in table?

Prashant,

When working with BOM and its components try using function module to extract the data required. I dont remember the name but you can use CS* in SE37 transaction to search.

check with ABAPer or in program where this calculated qnty is saved or kept in temp table , make use of that table for qntys.

1>If using Query

In the above given answers the table STAS is missing it is imp if u have alternative BOMs. So to create query using SQVI use the tables in this sequence MAST ,STKO ,STAS & STPO.

2> if using Function module

You can use the FM: ‘CS_BOM_EXPL_MAT_V2’ to retrieve the single/multi level BOM of any given material/ plant and BOM application (PP01). If you give import parameter MEHRS as ‘X’ – Multi level or else the O/P will fetch only single level BOM.

3>Simple option use reports

CS11,CS12,CS13
