Mapping of R3 tables to BW datasources?

Where can I find a mapping of BW Standard Content InfoSources to the actual R3 tables where the data is being pulled?

hi..

welcome to sdn..

RSO2, if it's generated from table/view, you will find the table there.

if with function module, you can view the logic and see table involved with SE37 - function module name.

check the tables starting with RSD* like for example

RSDIOBJ - Directory of all info objects

RSDAREA Directory of InfoAreas

RSDCUBE Directory of InfoCubes / InfoProvider

If you are talking about LO extractors then you will see the tables it is pulling the data from in lbwe, but for other extractors you need to know find what table it is pulling the data out first by checking the help and match the field name in transfer rule/Data Source section. Other than that, there is no one to one mapping the field and the datasources.
