Reg Planning

Hi,

I got a Input ready query and I am able to enter/change the keyfigure data. But, can we change the characteritics data! Suppose my Query fetches version 001, Material M001 data, how do I change the Version to 002 and material to M002? along with the keyfigure data?

Thanks.

    Yes. it will.

If you want to change the key figure after applying copy function, then in the key figure properties you must select " data can be changed with planning function and by user entry".

    Hi,

You can use standard planning function copy to copy the data from version 001 to 002 and material 001 to 002..

In planning function , field to be changed as version and material and field for condition should be some other characteristics..eg) calyear 2007 ..

    Regards,

    Siva.

      Hi,

If you use Copy function, you wont <i>change</i> the value from 001 to 002 but create a fresh record with 002 and the one with 001 will remain. To change the value, you should use Repost function. If your query is input ready, it will continue to be that way after you execute this repost function and you'll be able to change the value of the key figure in the changed row.

    Hello,

To change characteristic values in existing characteristic combinations, you will need planning function (like repost or copy); this cannot be done simply in the input query.
