Hi Bhavani,

The use of LSMW is quite vast, but the main reasons you would be using LSMW is when you want

1. Transfer data from legacy system into SAP

2. Carry out mass updates of any parameter of data in SAP

LSMW has 2 ways of carrying out these updates & it is a 13 step process.
