It again depends how your client want to segragate Sub bank control accounts.

For example If you want to have track seperaltely what all outgoing payment made through check, DD seperately then create two Sub control account. If you want to club togther than you can specify one bank sub GL Account for both.

Hi Pl open Bank clearing GL accounts for the following.

Direct debits i.e. bank charges - suspense clearing account to handle such misc items which are directly debited by bank.

return of cheques of customer parties - AR unpaid clearing account

return of cheques of vendor parties - AP unpaid clearing acccount

similarly u can maintain upto 9 clearing accounts for a single bank account.

Later on u can proceedfurther with the manual brs

Hi,

Out of the total transaction, only bank charges can be expense out. For rest all the transaction needs to be segregated into incoming and outgoing for the bank. Accordingly, create business transaction in Manual BRS for incoming i.e. Dr. Main Bank A/c and Credit Incoming Account. and for outgoing in reverse way.

For bank charges, you can directly debit to expense account and credit main bank account.

Hope this helps, if yes, please assign points.

Hi Syed,

It is purely imposible to maintain all the above transactions with only the GL accounts u have mentioned. U need to have cople more, like Bank Charges, Int. on Loan, Int. Fixed Depo. etc.

Just think interms of target GL account for those perticular transactions then u will get the answer your own.
