Hi Anil

Are you asking item categories for BOM

for that Non - stock and stock is standard , you need only valuted or non valuted rite?

go to that item overview and remove cost relevant if non valutated , if cost related then retain it.

if useful reward

Thanks

Bala

Hi,

Item category -practical usage : Example Automotive industry

1. non-stock item & non valuated : Stationaries like note books , whenever required ,these items will be procured.

2. non-stock item & valuated: A special accessory like a musical system that is required exclusively for a particular customer order. Here the musical system will not be used for any other modles/ orders , hence will not be kept in stock. But at the same its cost should be included in the Total product cost.

3. stock item & non valuated : Cutting tools like drill bit, milling cutter etc., for which we are intersted in maintaing stock to ensure smooth production, but at the same time not bothered about the value of these item stocks

4. stock item & valuated : Car, Engine, gear box, chasis etc that are relevant for purchase , production, sales. Mostly direct materials...

Reward points if this helps...
