ODBC connection not visible in 2013

A client of mine is trying to access my company's data using Crystal 2013. They have created the ODBC connection in the syswow64 folder to the SQL Server database but when they go to connect to it, Crystal doesn't see the database at all. (They added that it was visible when they went to do a query in Excel, however.)

Can anyone make a suggestion as to what they might be doing wrong?

Thank you in advance.

I suggest getting the info first before posting, then you can search and possibly find the answer and not have to post a question.

What version of Windows are they using?

Did they install the 32 bit SQL Client?

Hi Don,

Apologies for the delay in responding; I didn't know your response was here.

I will contact my client and ask them. This came to my Support team so we don't have a lot of details. I'll let you know what I find out. Thank you!
