Can any please send me path for how to define route determination, Transportation function and Shipping Cost.

Hi,

Route determination is carried out in the order item and depends on:

The country and the departure zone of the shipping point (assigned in Customizing)

The shipping condition defined in the sales document type or entered in the sold-to party

The transportation group assigned to the material

The country and the transportation zone of the ship-to party (assigned in the customer master).

<u><b>Note</b></u>:

You can manually overwrite the route determined in the order item.

You can redetermine the route in the outbound delivery based on the weight. Whether the route is redetermined depends on the configuration of the delivery type.

hi,

pl. follow this 6 steps. it's very simple to determine the routes.

1. define routes and stages; (from source to destination, which the goods are sent).

menu path: IMG= SD= BASICFUNCTIONS= ROUTES= DEFINE ROUTES AND STAGES. (OR)

UNDER IMG=LOGISTICS EXECUTION= SHIPPING= SHIPPING AND TRANSPORTATION= ROUTES= DEFINE ROUTES AND STAGES.

2. define transportation zones. (under same menu path under route determination.)

3. define transportation groups (under same menu)

4. define storage conditions.( under same menu but under picking option). and maintian it in the material master record under plant/storage data 1.

5. maintain country and transporation point for your shipping point.

6. assign the picking location b'coz the storage location to be determine automatically while creating delivery document.

now your route will determine.
