Hi all,
where can i look for a requirement class for specific schedule line assigned.
Plz comment.
thanks
am not exactly sure what you want to find out with this, but anyway you can see the requirement for a particular line item in the procument tab. This requirement type is assigned to a requirement class in t.code OVZH.
and requirement results with the combination of
item category + MRP type -
> Requirement type
and also same is the case with regards to schedule line category.
item category + MRP type -
> Schedule line category
Thanks

hi,
TAPA ( Product Selection )item category as such will not have any item category but i also verified my system and found to determine schedule line category, we have not associated any MRP type.
TAPA + -
> CD ( SL category ) [ CD is without delivery : so no delivery is created, no movement type for it]
Thanks

Hi ,
Thanks for help, the main reason i have been asking for MRP for TAPA is for confirming the material quantity just as TAN does. If the available quantity is 42, the TAN shows and picks 42 but TAPA is picking ordered quantity irrespective of material avaialbility. If i want TAPA to work like TAN so that it should confirm the exact quantity available or should not confirm the total quantity irrespective of available quantity. What should be done?
thanks
hi,
You can look at the Req. Type for an item in the overview screen, Procurement tab page.
