Indexing not working for DMS Connector

Hi,

We have our SAP Portal connect to R/3 using the DMS Connector. R/3 has a content Server.

We can see the documents from Portals; but when we try to index the documents from Portal it returns an error. The logs say that the username and password are incorrect. Any idea how indexing works for DMSRM Repository. We do not know where to look at?

Start from scratch - is also welcome. This is a very important issue; help is greatly appreciated.

    Hi Pratik,

    using the repository for the DMS Connector every user have to enter ther user credentionals in the User Mapping iView.

    This must be done as well for the indexing-user.

    Assign for the user "index_service" the user mapping for the DMS Connector System. This user must have full access to the DMS. Start the index process again (redindex).
