SAP Outbound HTTP Destination

Hi all,

I am hoping someone would point me in the right direction please.

We are on a dual stack PI system, NW7.1.

Currently in the middle of a big project, that involves building a new dev system, and changing all the pointers. e.g. Our current dev is on XDA, and we are moving to XD5. No problem there.

I have come to test on XD5 an outbound proxy interface (proxy to file), and it is failing to come into PI with the error ....

HTTP destination SAPISU_XDA missing (system , transaction SM59)

Ok, I get that, but I need it to be pointing at SAPISU_XD5 - which is my ABAP proxy type H RFC on the new system.

What I can't find is where to look in Integration Builder, to find where this RFC destination is picked up, so that I can change it.

The components I have for this interface (happily working everywhere else) is

Receiver Channel (adapter type file)

Receiver determination x2 (one for both XD5 and XDA)

Interface Determination x2 (one for both XD5 and XDA)

Receiver Agreement x2 (one for both XD5 and XDA)

Config Scenario

Many thanks in advance

Elizabeth

    Hi Elizabeth,

So if i understand you are try to changing to pointers from ECC-->XDA to ECC-->XD5 isn't it ? if yes then :

    • One RFC destination to be create in ECC SM59 to point to Integration Engine for new system XD5. This RFC destination has to be updated in SXMB_ADM also to allow all the outbound proxy messages to this system.
    • One RFC to point to ESR of new system to be used for SPROXY purpose.
    • There is no change to be done in PI system for this scenario.
    • Make sure the SLDAPICUST is updated in both ECC and New XD5 system.

    Br,

    Manoj

    • Wonderful Manoj,

Thank you for your prompt response. It was SXMB_ADM that I was missing.

I have modified the entry in there, and now my interface is working correctly.

      Many thanks

      Elizabeth
