Agile Data Preparation - HANA views

We are trying to understand what determines which HANA views are available as datasources in ADP?

When we go into ADP and create a new project and then choose ‘system and saved data sources’

We then scroll down the list which seems to contain the Schemas and then at the bottom has an entry for ‘CALCVIEW’

If we click on CALCVIEW we would expect to see all the calculation views that are exposed in HANA that we have access to.

However, we seem to only see a subset of all the views that are available in HANA Studio

As a user I have access to these views – do I need to somehow grant access to the ADP user for these?

We are assuming that the help comments about ‘the owner of the table must specify the grantable to others privilege’ only applies if you want to directly bring tables into ADP and does not apply if you want to bring in a calculation view?

If we want to bring in a calculation view do we have to set the role for that calculation view to ‘Grantable to others’? Help only mentions tables not views

It’s strange we see one of the views in ADP but not the other ones
