CCMS Email Alerts

Hi,

I would like to know how to set up EMAIL ALERT functionality in CCMS for critical alerts in SAP systems.

We are also using Solution Manager for systems monitoring. so I would like to know the same for Sol Man also.

Hi Vivek,

Thanks for your reply. But it does not work for me as I am not using Service Desk functionalities. I just want to send SMS alerts for system monitoring via solution manager.

Say, If there are failed jobs or st22 dumps then I want emails to be sent.

It will explain you how your alerts can be sent to any devises or alert management console.

First of all as you can see in CCMS you will not get complete list of all dumps which can be seen through ST22. Any way the cancellation of jobs is alerted in CCMS but if multiple jobs fail at same time I hope CCMS may not alert you as SM37 can show you.

What you can do it you can call BAPIs which are available for external interface to fetch these information . Again through SMS server you can receive these things as messages else if you have blackberry devise you can receive that as email.
