Batch at GR of production order means the 03 lot has no batch can we automate to take first batch?

Hi all

For certain batch managed products we need to do batch at goods receipt. This in turns means there is no batch in the process order and therefore no batch populating into the 03 inspection lot. The users are then having to manually go into the inspection lot each time and assigning one of the batches so they are able to make the UD.

Is there a Function module or note that could help automate that the system would automatically take the first batch of the Goods receipt of the order and populate into the 03 inspection lot.
