How do other companies manage annual leave carry over days for Netherlands within Employee central?

We are an international company and have a base within the Netherlands - I understand that legislation dictates that Netherlands employees can, each year, carry over annual leave of 5 days and bank them up to 5 years. We are trying to understand how other companies might manage this within EC and protect this 'pot' of carry over leave. How have other companies found a solution to this problem?
