How to add multiple Tcodes while creating a role using PFCG.
I can only add 17 Tcodes each time, I have 250 T codes in a Role which I am going to create , just wanted to know if there is any way to do this at a time, apart from using the scripts. is there any icon in pfcg-menu-tcodes section to upload or paste all at a time ? please suggest.
Thanks

Basically it is not possible...!!

SAP will not allow more than 17 even if we copy 100 T codes from excel sheet and paste in the Transaction window. it will only take 17 and again we have to press page down .
experts : is there any simple way to add 700 t codes at a time in a role ?
Thanks in advance.

Hello,
SAP only support 17 t-code to be assigned at a time.....this limitation is bcoz of when u paste the T-codes u have to press enter each time so that SAP will assign the description to each role.
No other way for bulk assignement of the T-codes to role.

Hi
Sunny
I think there is no way to copy and paste 300 T-Codes to role in PFCG
but in your case a Composite Role can solve the problem.

I hope u find a way with my answer, if so please drop Points into my Account

From what i know, It is not possible.
I had the same issue. One of the folks in SDN directed me to Note# 389675 however that did not help either.
best regards

I would rethink your strategy if in the U.S. A role this large and far reaching would not pass SOX audit.

Barbara,
That statement only holds true if the role contains conflicting functions.
There is nothing inherently wrong with a large role.

There isn't a way to upload more than 17 at a time via PFCG, but an ABAPer can write a program to upload a list of transactions from a spreadsheet; that's the only other option I've seen work.
