How can I archive a Business Partner to delete it?

Hello everyone,

I am trying to archive a BP to delete it, it is a BP that I created just for testing purposes and now it is useless. I go through:

- SARA transaction

- Select CA_BUPA as Archiving Object

- Click on Check/Delete tab

- Choose Delete

a "Schedule Deletion" window is opened where I am asked to fill a "Variant" field which I don't know what it is... Even F4 does not provide me any options to select, so I am stuck here.

With that said, can anyone help me with to solve this? I just want to delete a completely useless BP.

Before you can execute the deletion part you have to execute the "write" part, because SAP only deletes records from your tables which exists in the archive.

Before you can archive you have to do your archive customizing, general customizing and archiving object specific customizing, which also includes the definition of setting up test and productive variants for the deletion run.

The customizing button can also be found right in your SARA transaction.
