gl account not creating in fsoo

Hi to all,

when i am creating gl a/c in fsoo, it is giving one message ' gl a/c already created for company code. but when i have seen there is no gl accounts, pl. give me what i have to do.

Hi,

Pls see if your gl is marked for deletion or blocked. Go to FS00 and input the gl no and click on the pencil icon. You are now in edit mode. Press the lock sign appearing at the right top corener and see if the gl is blocked. Again press the bin icon, just beside the lock icon, to see if the gl is marked for deletion.

If either is activated, you will not be able to create gl in the same number. At the same time the gl will not apprear in the chart of accounts.

Hope you will get to know the reason behind this issue.

GL account can be created at two levels - chart of account level and co code level.

fspo - at chart of account level

fsso - at co code level.

we can create the same at two levels at a time with fs00.

hope this will help.

check in table skb1, if that gl account is there.

Hi Sai,

GL account already exist with the same number

there is a possiblity that particular GL account may be blocked or deleted (check the same)
