Hey Robin,
I think there was a little confusion here.
FTPS (supported by XI) = FTP over SSL
it either uses port 21 (standard FTP port) for explicit FTPS or port 990 for implicit FTPS (old version of FTPS).
SFTP (not supported by XI) = SSH File Transfer Protocol (which is NOT FTP over SSH; it is a whole different protocol)
it uses port 22 (standard SSH port)
Regards,
Henrique.
XIer,
the port you set in the adapter is the port that the FTPS server uses!
You have to check with the server guys which port they use.
21 is just the standard port, but it doesn't mean that they have used it by default.
Also, for the SSL, you may need or not a certificate. It depends on what kind of authentication the server has implemented. You also have to check that with the FTPS server guys.
Regards,
Henrique.
There is already created SFTP adapter for XI (delivered from Seeburger).
Documentation how to configure this adapter and sample scenario is coming with the adapter CD. Connection port used from this adapter is 22.

Naycho
