Hi Hari,
We use Cell Editor when we have Complex query with two structure used to avoid the results getting collapsed,
It is very useful to resolve complex scenarios. For example, using it in aging analysis report which supports three different periods (aging by key date, aging as of last month and aging as of last year). For each row, the calculation is different based on key date, last month and last year.
How to document on Cell Editor(E.g),
URL for Defining Exception Cells,

We used defined cells when the intersection cell of 1 row and column was required to have a different formula or selection in it as compared to the basic query design of how the columns and rows are restricted.
The formula or selection used in the specific "defined cell" overrides the formula/selection in the overall query for that specific cell. Any cell that has a blank cell definition is derived from the basic query designer row/column restriction/formula.
"Cell Exceptions" are helpful to highlight (in color) any cell in a particular row or column that meet a certain criteria, such as highlighting all negative balances, but still show the entire query result.

Hi Hari,
We can use the cell editor when you have two structures in a queryto avoid the results getting collapsed.
These two structures a forming a grid of cells. Each cell can be restricted to any characteristic available; can have any key figure or calculation defined in it.
This functionality is very powerful for fixed reports; the two structures will have a fixed number of elements. You will still be able to drill some characteristics down but the result will sometimes doesn't make sense depending on how you have defined the structure elements.
You can define specific formulas in specific cells with Cell Editor.
Cell Exceptions means.. you can assign colors for particular cells based on the result..
