Portal server cannot connect to WGATE

Hi all,

I have this peculiar problem and I'm kindda stuck on options.

My system framework is such that I have dual host configured for load balancing of 2 AGates servers and 2 WGates servers. The 2 WGate servers will be communicated by a EP server.

I managed to test and establish successful load balancing between the AGate servers and WGate servers, but the problem come when I'm trying to communicate from the EP server to the WGate servers.

via the web browser from the EP server, I manage launch ITS page from WGate1 server without any problem.

but if I disable WGate1's IIS website and run the web browser from EP server, I got a "page not found". I've checked the WGate2 server's IIS website is up and running.

Both WGate servers are configured to the same virtual IP address and some http port.

Somehow the EP server was not able to resolve the IP and port from WGate1 server. I've check that the ports were open for both WGate1 and WGate2 server from EPserver.

Is there anywhere in the WGATE servers that I can check or should I look into the EP server instead? the "ItsRegistryWGATE.xml" files of both servers were identical.

Appreciate some suggestion/advise. Thanks in advance.

will award point for useful answers 😊

Regards,

Jansen
