Hello,
The assignment of a cost element group to a value field in COPA is not correct, but documents have been posted already.
We need to correct the cost element group for future postings. For past postings I looked into KE4SFI and found that this transaction checks for existing records and if found doesn't post. This behaviour is unlike KE4S where I can have past postings cancelled and posted again. Can I find such functionality for financial documents too?
Thank you,
Joachim
Dear Joachim Nerreter
Even it is very dangerous, you can use KE4S00 transaction code if old postings should be reversed in all consciences. Then you may use KE4SFI transaction code to repost these line items. (Please note all reference FI documents not to lose which documents will be subject of subsequent reposting.)
But please avoid from option "Logical Delete" to face with unexpected situations.
First of all please check below OSS notes and test this reversal process on a test system to analyze effects:
When you cancel CO-PA line items in T-code KE4S00, system is using the old posting date
Using report RKEDELE1 for COPA deletion
Kind Regards,
