Set the summarization levels in an ALV report

Hi,

We have a simple ALV report to summarize net value by sales org or payment terms.

I want the report to show with the "summarization levels" so that we do not get all of the detail in the report.

  SELECT a~vkorg d~inco1 a~kunnr a~netwr a~waerk
FROM vbak AS a INNER JOIN vbkd AS d
    ON a~vbeln = d~vbeln
INTO CORRESPONDING FIELDS OF TABLE gt_data
      WHERE a~audat IN so_audat
       AND d~posnr EQ '000000'.

My workaround is to save a display variant as the default, but it would be good to set the summarization level based on other selections in the report if possible.

Thanks for any helpful answers.

The following allows the subtotal to be shown, but I want to suppress the rows other than the totals. Basically, I want to see just the total for the sales org and total for the incoterms without showing every single record in the dataset.

  DATA: ls_sort TYPE lvc_s_sort.
  ls_sort-fieldname = p_fieldname.
  ls_sort-up = 'X'.
  ls_sort-group = '*'.
  ls_sort-subtot = 'X'.
  ls_sort-comp = 'X'.
  APPEND ls_sort TO gt_sort.
