Help with working in BW on ECC5.0

Hi Experts, I, a novice, installed ECC5.0 for practicing BW. It does not allow me to work in BW any client other than 800, and the logical system assigned to client 800 is T90CLNT090 (be default) which is not a proper BW system and shows only two nodes (unassigned nodes and RFID Standalone Station) and all objects such as 0cusotmer etc. cannot be installed. What is the best course of action to rectify that. Can I install Business Content in this client, or will I have to change the logical system to B3TCLNT800. If I have to change the logical system, what the steps are going to be?

Any help will be sincerely appreciated..

The logical system is an identifier, that must be UNIQUE in the system landscape. Usually one NEVER changes it unless you do e. g. a system copy.

There are not BW "clients" - BW works only in one client.

The content is always imported in client 000, you will see it then in client 800.

if this is only a test system... or a refreshed system, investigate usage of tcode BDLS
