We are running SAP in high-availability on a MS SQL 2005 cluster.
We are going to be setting up a disaster recovery cluster.
Has anyone had experience doing a system copy where the source/target systems are a MSCS cluster with Win2003 SP1 nodes and SQL 2005 db?
Any tips, tricks, or pointer would be appreciated.
some details are missing?
- what is the SAP release?
- is this abap/java system or mixed?

ok. This is should be done as homogeneous system copy
see docu "System Copy for SAP Systems Based on 7.0 SR1 ABAP+Java " on
http://service.sap.com /instguides
go for SAP NetWeaver 7.0 (2004s) -> Installation
you can use both - r3load and db copy methods. Details are in docu.
best regards
