Hi Experts,

We are having an issue with ALV reports, where users are required to open multiple sessions of the same reports. The reports has certain hotspots as well. THe data sets are not very large.

Overtime the usage of these reports, certain issues have started cropping up such as lagging in the report. Fonts change automatically. on clicking on any columns, the column moves from the position.

After analysing, this issue was seen in standard transaction ME2L as well. This is a frustration point for users as the need to restart PC every time this issue is faced.

Please suggest for resolution

Warm Regards

Did you install the latest version of the SAP GUI for Windows?

Thank you for responding. We are working on 740 final release.

You may try with 7.50. Ask assistance to SAP support too. Sometimes, there can be DLL conflicts, bugs, etc.

Have you checked the ALV programs?

Have you checked if there's any user modifying the ALV Layouts?

Thanks for replying on the issue.

User is not modifying the layouts. The reports works problematically only on heavy usage ( in terms of number of iterations of execution and not data load ) of the reports.

We have checked with the basis as well for memory issues but apparently that is also not he issue.

Tried to look for any GUI related notes but did not find anything relevant.

Oh I see, that's weird we have reports with heavy usage too but we don't encounter such error.

May I know how many session opened for that report?

And is there any runtime error?

Make surer that the GUI is the latest version as well.
