Hi,

While creating a single cycle maintenance plan, in "Scheduling Parameters" tab, factory calender is default taken from Plant customization. But we like to use another calender and that calender is assigned to the maintenance work center.

Is there anyway, the calender in workcenter can be the default calender in this field instead of Plant specific calender?

What will happen to scheduling, if plant specific calender is not deleted from IP41 scheduling tab (which was there as default) and assisgned work center have maintenance calender in it.

Thanks

Vineeth

Hi Vineeth,

In case the calendar are different for maintenance plan schedule and for work center then you will find call objects (work order/notifications) getting generated on days when there is no crew as it was a holiday based on the maintenance work center. You can always pick up this call object at a later point and still be able to schedule it based on maintenance calendar.

I have not seen any system config or setting which can default any other calendar in the scheduling tab of IP41. However if your users are not changing it correctly there is a an option of mass changing these plans in IP15 but you will have to activate business function LOG_EAM_CI_7.

Hi Vineeth,

Unless you choose Factory Calendar has the scheduling indicator, it does not have any impact on the plans you generate. If your scheduling Indicator is Factory Calendar, then system picks the call dates based on the calendar.

Two things you need to keep in mind, this is maintenance plan, the scheduling will be based on the calendar or the scheduling indicator you choose.

For the work order, the scheduling is based on the Work Center Factory Calendar.

To understand further, try to schedule the maintenance plan with both calendar for a same parameters and start of cycle date and see whether the call dates and plan dates are different.

Regards

Terence
