PA30(URGENT)

Hi,

How can we change Personnel Area in PA30, by default if it is wrongly entered.

by PA40?

OR PA30 .

Plz suggest.

Select and Copy the wrong record in IT0000,Now the system will allow to change the Personnel Area.

1. through Transfer Action u can change the personnel Area

2. Delete that record or delimit ,

3. Create New Hiring action

Use PA40 org reassignment and change it from date what is required.

Hi

As per my thinking you should able to do it from PA40 still you are not able to do it might be some authorization problem.

Check with basis person.

give date .

click on org reassignment .

execute.

now it will let you to the screen where you can change personnel area.

I have tried as u said, it didnt work,the error message iam getting is Organizational reassignment is not permitted.

plz suggest,

In PA40 i dont have organizational reassigment as per user reqiurements .

hai

u can change PA through PA40(or any action only) it is not done through PA30.

u can create a an action as personnel area change.

in the infogroup just give 0001 copy.

the execute the action it will work

Hi Archana,

Possible Solution :

1. Create your own Personal Action, Organization Reassignment in IMG -> PM -> PA -> Customizing Procedures -> PA for your user group with sequence of infotypes with copy or change function. Probably, you might have the Org Reassignment action for some other user group, you can copy it for your User group.

2. May be because of Structural Authorization maintained for those employees. Check the profile of those employees.

3. Execute the PA40 again to change the Personnel Area and execute the infogroup.

Hi Archana

The reason you personal area could be disabled is in the table T529A, the check box for PA could be unchecked for the action type that your are using .

You will need to check if your PA is getting defaulted through position.If it is then you can just change the position with the correct PA in the OM side .
