Hi Mohammad,

1. "First day is day off", "Last day is day off" and "Non-working period" - These fields are used to signify how the system will behave if you have entered the Absence Type with a duration that either starts with a day off (example - Sunday or Public Holiday) or ends with a day off or the entire leave period falls under a period of Non-working days (Example - You enter absence from 5.8.2017 to 6.8.2017 and both of them are officially off for the company). In these cases, you can customize the system to either give you a Warning (W) which you can ignore by pressing ENTER, an Error (E) which will stop the entry of such dates, or simply an Information (I) message which will still allow you to save the data.

2. "Second Date Required" - Here, you specify whether or not the END DATE is required for the Absence Type. If you don't check this box, then the END DATE is picked as per view V_T582A.

3. "Minimum Duration" an "Maximum Duration" - Absences that are allowed to last for less than one workday are assigned the indicator 000. Attendances and absences that are to be rejected by the system if they are shorter than one day are denoted by an indicator greater than or equal to 001.

4. Unit - This specifies which unit of days (Calendar, Payroll or Att./Abs days) is used for the absence in question.

Best Regards,

Aman
