once we make the configuration(functional) in dev syst. how can we transport it to other system like qai or prd system. typically we do it in technical using se09 or se10.for abap requests.

Hello,

It is the same process as u do in development requests.

But i request u sit with y'r Basis admin and ask him what are the clients are available in the DEV system, he will tell you what are the client numbers, and whether it is development or customizing etc.

For development work you have to do it in respective development client. And customizing , u have to do it customizing client.

And for testing also , ask your admin, that under which client u have to test.

And finally to Production.

Hi Lynx,

You have to create the Transport Request and it must be released. Then you can transport it to your Quality & Prod server. Consult your Basis to do that.

Hi,

In the same way you make the ABAP transports you can make the Customizing transports as well. When the user makes a customizing in DEV they will ask him to assign the change to a package (development class) and create a task request. Once this request is released (trx se09) you can transport them to another system QA, PRD with the STMS (Transport queue) transaction.
