Warning: Employee Responsible does not exist in Master data

Hi,

I am importing opportunity via Opportunity Template into C4C.

I am getting warning for few employee responsible that Employee Responsible <Name> does not exist in Master data.

I checked the Employee data. Those business users already been created in the system.

Implication: System allows to create opportunity but Employee responsible/owner got blank in opportunity.

What could be the resone and how to rectify it?

Dear Vincent,

There can be mainly two reasons which can cause this issue:

1. The employee is created in the system, however the Employee Hire Date is in the future date. Unless the Employee is not Active , he/she can't be associated with an Opportunity.

2. The error occurs when the value for the field Employee Responsible is not entered correctly. Please select the employee with the help of value help.

If you still face any issues after correcting the data as mentioned above, Please raise an incident and send it to SAP Product Support.
