Issue with the SAP Fiori Count Stock App

Dear community,

I have been implementing SAP Fiori Count Stock App [1] for our customer. I have

the same problem as described in this blog's comment.

I created a physical inventory document for one material/product on my SAP ECC

. The Count Stock App list the physical inventory document I just created. When

I click the 'add product' button, I also can see the material/product.

Everything fine until here.

However when I select the product, I get an error pop-up:

The error message is "This product is not part of the inventory to be counted".

I don’t see any Javascript error on my Web Browser console.

Another developer faced the same problem described in more details in the comment of this blog:

https://blogs.sap.com/2017/02/16/count-stock-app/

It would be great when someone can help me with this issue. Thank you.

Cheers,

Christian

    Christian,

We had the same issue in our system, seems that the problem is related to customizing settings for preloading the Inventory documents in Count stock application. When we changed the customizing schema under:

Logistics - General -> SAP Retail Store -> In-Store Merchandise and Inventory Management - UI5 Apps -> Count Stock -> Define Basic Settings for Count Stock; -> Count Stock Customizing View - Schema

we changed Preload Inv Products to "3 No preload" and the error is not there anymore. Probably this does not solve all PID preload issues, but at least this is a step forward with the issue.

    Cheers,

    Matiss

    Hi,

Know it is a bit old thread but recently we had exactly the same issue. However the solution of Diana did not work for us.

The app uses the GTIN to search. Check if the GTIN (Global Trade Identification Number) is filled. In our example is was not.

Filling it with a value solved this issue for us.

    Hope for you too!

    Regards,

    bart
