Link to a specific workitem in UWL

Hi All,

I have a requirement to send a link to the user's Outlook that takes him directly to a specific workitem in the UWL (not the general UWL page).

Can anybody tell me how to obtain this link...I know how to get to the UWL, but not to a specific workitem.

I really appreciate if you can respond to this asap as this has been holding up my development for a while.

You can use program RSWUWFML or RSWUWFML2 which should run periodically in background. In the selection screens of the program you have the option of generating Executable attachment that will be sent along with a notification mail whnever a Dialog workitem is created. For this the SAP User Id to whom the workitem is being sent should be maintained with email address in Tcode su01d.

thanks for your reply. I know how thie RSWUWFML2 pgm works. But, this link i need is to take the user to his UWL's particular witem, not the SAP inbox. Hope I am clear this time about my requirement.

Anyone,pl let me know if this is possible or anyother way to achieve this.

For that functionality, you need to configure Extended Notifications if your SAP release supports it. Check out these links for more info:
