ESS repository import fails.

Dear SDN Community,

I am trying to import the ESS latest sca file into NWDI and it fails with the following error message. Can you please advice me.

Hi Surya,

We got a similar issue a while ago. we fixed it by increasing the memory for saptemp table space. Try increasing the space to may be 1Gb and try to assemble again.

Hi Lakshmi,

Even we failed once while importing ESS applications into NWDI. SO, we are trying to reinstall NWDI with more RAM speed. Also in note 889038, it says in, <b>4: CMS Configuration </b>, the Transport directory should have 50GB space. Even we are trying to increase it with new server.

I am seeing one more suggestion from you. How to increase the space of <b>SAPTEMP</b> to 1GB. Could you give me any path to do this.

Your help in this direction will be greatly appreciated.

After upgrading the NWDI server to SP12, this issue has been resolved.

Hi Vivek,

The issue might be related to database. Check with the basis team whether the Database has enough space to grow.
