Integrate SAP Mobile and Web Dynpro

Hi,

I would like to know if there is some problem to access Web Dynpro of MI Client.

We have a process on our application that ask high performance and we are thinking to do this process with Web Dynpro.

The application is used on Windows Mobile 5.0.

Thanks and Regards,

Bruno

    Hi Bruno,

Mobile Infrastructure (MI) client is JSP or AWT based and does not support webdynpro based applications. In order to used webDynpro, you must use Mobile WebDynpro which uses webDynpro based client.

    hi bruno,

perhaps calling a web-service from your offline mobile-app would be a solution? you could stay within your application('s design) and do some online web-service-calls to the mi-server, we also did this within a project to display some additional data (only when online-connection is present) which we didn't want to synchronize.

      Hi N. Koelbl,

Yes, a web-service is the solution. We tested here and we are update the callings to RFC using Generic Sync API.

We are calling WS with HttpURLConnection.

      Thanks for your attention.

      Regards,
