Exposing SAP Systems to Internet

Hi ,

We are planning to expose our portal and some other SAP systems to internet.

I would request you suggest any best practices regarding.

A) Exposing WebApplications

These are the following options for exposing the SAP Web Applications we are thinking of...

1.Web Dispatcher

2.Reverse Proxy

In scenario 1 : I request your suggestions and confirmation on the following.

1. We need to have multiple Web dispatchers maintained for all the servers that we want to expose...

one for portal , one for ECC if any web application is to be exposed.. like that...

In Senario 2 :

In this we require only one reverse proxy to manage all the web applications running on multiple servers and this will be exposed to the internet...

B) Accessing through WINGUI :

We have some applications for which the end user has to use the WINGUI..and this is required for a minimum set of users.. I am trying for a document which discusess all the possible ways of doing this..

I would request your suggestions on the above scenarios ...

Thanks in Advance..
