Auditing : Distinguish between scheduled and ad-hoc refresh ?

Hi , I'm looking for an (easy) way, by using the auditing database/universe, to distinguish between a scheduled and an ad-hoc refresh of documents.

I created a WEB-Doc, scheduled it twice, and refreshed it once ad-hoc. Then I tried, with Audit.unx universe to find a way how I can see them.

I know the a JobServer (AJS) is involved , and I do see the audit-records of the AJS, but I did not find a way yet to easily distinguish between refreshed and ad-doc refresh.

Has anybody ever made such a report from Audit.unx ? We are on BI 4.2

Many thanks, Eddy

Here are the common audit events which you can make use of.

Depending upon your report & Schedule properties you may need to apply filters on below events

  • View (1002)
  • Refresh (1003)
  • Prompt (1004)
  • Run (1011)
  • Trigger (1016)

Thanks
